“In order to provide training for hundreds of new students, the Institut Bisnis IT&B collaborated with Batalyon Komando 469 KOPASGAT to conduct Outbound Training for the new intake of 2023 at Lapangan Batalyon Komando 469 KOPASGAT in Medan, North Sumatra (September 17, 2023).
Vice Rector III of the Institut Bisnis IT&B, Ir. Albert, S.E., S.P., M.M., who also serves as the Event Committee Advisor, stated that the Outbound Training program for new students was designed to instill discipline, teamwork, leadership, and character development in them, both in an engaging and military manner.
“I am very pleased and happy to see the new students’ enthusiasm in participating in the Outbound Training program. The success of the event is also due to the ideas and creativity of the IT&B Business Institute’s Student Executive Board (BEM) in designing and preparing meaningful and enjoyable games. It is also thanks to the guidance and support from Batalyon Komando 469 KOPASGAT in training the new students of the Institut Bisnis IT&B,” said Ir. Albert, S.E., S.P., M.M.
On this occasion, PASI OPS of Batalyon Komando 469 KOPASGAT, Captain Pas Alis Andi Cahyono, provided guidance to the new students of the Institut Bisnis IT&B, encouraging them to cultivate a love for their homeland and become part of the struggle for Indonesia Emas 2045.
“I highly appreciate the IT&B Business Institute for initiating and entrusting us to participate in educating their new students. I hope the new students of the Institut Bisnis IT&B will continue to be enthusiastic and work together to contribute to the progress of Indonesia,” said Captain Pas Alis Andi Cahyono.
Meanwhile, Managing Director of the Institut Bisnis IT&B, Dr. Agus Susanto Tan, representing the Tunas Andalan Nusa Foundation, expressed gratitude to Batalyon Komando 469 KOPASGAT for their willingness to collaborate in preparing and facilitating the Outbound Training program for new students.
“I extend my deepest gratitude and highest appreciation to the Commander of Batalyon Komando 469 KOPASGAT, Lieutenant Colonel Pas Ronni Cahyo Setiawan, S.E., for granting permission to use the location, to PASI OPS of Batalyon Komando 469 KOPASGAT, Captain Pas Alis Andi Cahyono, for providing motivation and guidance to our new students, and to the entire Batalyon Komando 469 KOPASGAT team for supporting the implementation of this event. May this collaboration continue, so that it can guide even more young generations who are the future of Indonesia,” said Dr. Agus Susanto Tan.
In the closing session, the Rector of the Institut Bisnis IT&B, Prof. Ir. H. Zulkarnain Lubis, M.S., Ph.D., congratulated the new students of the IT&B Business Institute who had participated in the Pre-Student Orientation and Outbound Training programs for two days.
