Four students majoring in Management at the Institut Bisnis Informasi Teknologi dan Bisnis (IB IT&B) won the title of Finalist in a competition, which raised awareness of the national level Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely the “ASEAN Future Sustainable Leaders Case Competition 2021” organized by various institutions from all over Indonesia.

The students were Fransiska Theresia, Elvina Jhonsen, Michelle and Jonathan Karsten. In the competition, participants were asked to provide creative ideas that can help the process of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

There were two rounds that were passed by the participants, namely the preliminary round which eliminated dozens of teams from all over Indonesia, and left 5 teams to compete again in the final round. In the final round, IB IT&B students competed with students from the University of Indonesia (UI), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Bina Nusantara University (BINUS), Jakarta State University (UNJ), and North Sumatra University (USU).

Managing Director of IB IT&B, Dr. Agus Susanto Tan said, IB IT&B students have done their best to achieve this achievement. “This can certainly be achieved because of the moral support and guidance from IB IT&B lecturers. We are proud and grateful for the achievements of IB IT&B students. Hopefully this achievement can spur and motivate other IB IT&B students to achieve proud achievements at the national and international levels,” he hoped.
