Institut Bisnis IT&B in collaboration with CIMB Niaga held Smart Money Management literacy – Exploring Bonds, Deposits, Mutual Funds, and Bancassurance, Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 5th Floor Main Hall of Institut Bisnis IT&B.
This activity was created by the Institut Bisnis IT&B with the aim of improving financial literacy and helping Institut Bisnis IT&B students manage their finances more intelligently.
The literacy presented Shelly, Preferred Business Manager of CIMB Niaga Cemara Asri Medan Branch, as the main speaker who provided in-depth insights into various financial instruments.
Also present were the Chancellor of the IT&B Business Institute, Assoc Prof Dr Agus Susanto Tan; Vice Chancellor I, Dr Elyzabeth Wijaya; Head of Accounting Study Program Deva Djohan, BCom, MM, MBA; hundreds of students from various study programs at the IT&B Business Institute and the general public from various private schools and universities in Medan.
Assoc Prof Dr Agus Susanto Tan, Rector of Institut Bisnis IT&B said, in this seminar, participants are expected to gain an understanding of how to optimize their funds through various investment options, including bonds, deposits, mutual funds, and bancassurance.
“Each financial instrument has different characteristics and benefits, which can be adjusted to the risk profile and financial goals of individuals,” he said.
