Six students of IT & B Campus achievement carving at Asian English Olympics 2016 organized by Bina Nusantara English Club at Bina Nusantara University, Jakarta. “We are very proud and appreciate the achievements of the six students who won the prestigious event in Asia,” said Managing Director of IT & B Campus, Dr. Agus Susanto Tan at the campus, Jalan Mahoni Medan, Friday (26/2). Mentioned Agus, the six students are Jenny on the news casting contest, Ricky Tionardy and Kuandi Chandra (speech contest), Cathy Djaya and Elvie (debate) and Heriyanto (observer), In the international event was attended by more than 500 participants from 10 countries in Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, Bangladesh, India, Hongkong, Laos and Philippines).

In the competition in the grand final round of news casting, Jenny managed to reach the rank I by beating the grand finalists from India, Malaysia and Jakarta. While in speech competition, Ricky Tionardy was ranked second and Kuandi Chandra took the semi-finalist position after competing with competitors from Malaysia, Philippines and Bangladesh. “To the winners and participants of this competition we are satisfied and thank you for winning the championship, bringing the good name of the country, region and college,” said Agus. Agus said, his side strongly supports the various competitions that followed the students, both local, national and international levels. “We hope that the students will be more motivated and motivate other students to achieve achievement in the national and international arena,” said Agus.
