IT&B Business Institute students who joined UKM IT&B English Warriors won victory in the SCOPE English Debate Competition (SECTION) 2021 organized by the Center for Indonesian Medical Students’ Activities (CIMSA) Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kualapada University on 27-28 March 2021 through Zoom Video Conferencing online.
This national scale competition was attended by various leading universities in Indonesia, such as the University of Indonesia, the University of Lampung, the University of Riau, the University of Syiah Kuala, and so on.
IB IT&B A students (Nico Fernando Tan and Clara Jesica) won as 1st Runner-Up after qualifying for the Grand Final stage defeating the team from the University of Indonesia. Meanwhile, the IT&B B team (James Rivaldo and Stefanie Chuianda) managed to reach the Semi-Finalist position in this English debate competition.
Managing Director of IB IT&B, Dr. Agus Susanto Tan, explained that IB IT&B always supports students to continue making achievements not only in the local area but also in the national region.
All the achievements achieved by IT&B English Warriors students never escape the constant support of IB IT&B which provides intensive training and emotional support that encourages students to always try and be confident.
The hope is that this achievement can motivate students to continue to be enthusiastic and achieve.
