In celebration of the 80th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), the Student Association of Institut Bisnis IT&B visited the Berkat Bintang Sejati Orphanage to deliver donations to the children.
This social initiative carried out by the Community Service of HIMA (Student Association) of Management and HIMA (Student Association) of International Trade received appreciation from Institut Bisnis IT&B.
According to Rector Agus Susanto Tan, the donation was delivered in conjunction with Independence Day on August 17. The students, accompanied by the Head of the Management Study Program, Dr. Susanto; the Head of the International Trade Study Program, Dr. Hengky Kosasih; the President of HIMA International Trade, Jeslyn; and the President of HIMA Management, Marcella, directly visited the Berkat Bintang Sejati Orphanage located at Jalan Sei Sihalian No. 25, Sei Sikambing,’ said the Rector of Institut Bisnis IT&B.
He expressed hope that the social initiatives carried out by IT&B Business Institute will not stop here but continue to dedicate themselves to society, especially for underprivileged children.
The donations, in the form of basic necessities and cash, were directly received by the Administrator of Berkat Bintang Sejati Orphanage, Times Mawati, and witnessed by the Vice Rector I of IT&B Business Institute, Dr. Elyzabeth Wijaya. ‘On behalf of the children of Berkat Bintang Sejati Orphanage, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the social support provided by the students of Institut Bisnis IT&B. This donation serves as encouragement for us in celebrating the 80th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia,’ she said.
